“LITTLE DREAMER”
Maureen’s second life-size bronze sculpture in this growing series, “Little
Dreamer”, continues her exploration of childhood wonder. Completed in December
2024, this enchanting piece features a young girl blowing bubblegum in a private
moment of daydreaming. The bubblegum is a reminder of our youth and the joy
and freedom we have in childhood.
“The light playing on the golden
bubble is my favorite detail,” Maureen
shares, “reminding us to cherish our
inner child and the importance of
dreaming.” The work invites viewers
to connect with their own dreams,
making this sculpture both uplifting
and thought-provoking.
Both of these sculptures exemplify
Maureen’s ability to infuse life and
emotion in her work in bronze
medium, creating works that resonate
deeply with viewers.
