CELEBRATING CHILDHOOD: LIFE-SIZE BRONZE SCULPTURES

Eager to take on a new challenge and grow as an artist, Maureen, always
seeks to expand her creative horizons, and so she started producing work in
bronze in 2018. She developed an impressive and successful collection of
limited-edition bronze work. This not only elevated her work to new heights
but also showcased her versatility and commitment to her artistic journey.

Maureen’s sculptures invite viewers into a world of imagination, joy, and cultural
storytelling. From her delicate ceramic figurines to her commanding bronze works,
her art celebrates the beauty of life and the magic of childhood.

“LITTLE DANCER, COME PLAY WITH US”

Inspired by the innocence and wonder of
childhood, Little Dancer, Come Play With Us
is a joyful tribute to the magic of little girls.
Influenced by Degas’ iconic Little Dancer, this
life-size bronze sculpture contains a playful
twist with the mischievous detail of blowing
bubblegum, evoking nostalgia and delight.
The Little Dancer’s size, pose and expression
results in a captivating presence. The first, of
this limited edition of 12, was completed in
December 2023. The love for, and universal
appeal of this interpretation of the Little
Dancer is evident with six of the limited edition
sold within the first year of its release.
