Description
Little Diver is the third life-size bronze sculpture in Maureen Visagé’s growing figurative series exploring childhood, imagination, and emotional presence.
Following Little Dancer, Come Play with Us and Little Dreamer, this work continues her devotion to honouring the innocence, joy, and quiet power of girlhood.
Unveiled in January 2026, Little Diver depicts a spirited young girl standing at the water’s edge, fully immersed in the sensation of the moment—the warmth of the sun on her face, the anticipation of movement, and the freedom of being entirely present.
Unlike the poised elegance of the dancer or the inward stillness of the dreamer, Little Diver captures a threshold moment: playful, fearless, and alive with possibility.
The Little Diver invites viewers to reconnect with their own memories of childhood freedom and courage. Little Diver is a celebration of joy without self-consciousness, and of the timeless wonder found in small, lived moments.
