33BREE, in collaboration with The Artists Gallery, is pleased to announce an Open Call for “wild as you are”, a curated group exhibition that will take place from 4 December 2026 to 9 January 2027 at 33BREE — a vibrant cultural space in the heart of Cape Town.
This exhibition invites artists to explore the untamed, authentic and instinctive aspects of the human experience. Wild is not defined by chaos or nature alone, but by the courage to be unapologetically yourself. We are looking for artworks that embrace individuality, vulnerability, freedom, resilience and raw creative expression.
We are seeking paintings that capture what it means to live, create and exist without unnecessary boundaries. Whether your work is bold or subtle, figurative or abstract, deeply personal or universally symbolic, we encourage artists to interpret the theme in their own unique way.
Artists are invited to challenge conventions, celebrate authenticity, and explore the beauty of imperfection, instinct and self-expression.
Together, we aim to present an inspiring and thought-provoking exhibition that celebrates diverse artistic voices and reminds us that our greatest strength often lies in embracing exactly who we are.
