Within South Africa we courier your artwork to your door - the shipping cost will show at the checkout.

When shipping art internationally, two primary options are commonly considered: crated and rolled. Crating involves securely packaging the artwork in a custom-built crate, providing maximum protection against physical damage but often resulting in higher shipping costs due to size and weight.
On the other hand, rolling art involves taking stretched paintings off the frame, carefully wrapping the artwork and placing it in a protective tube. This method is more cost-effective and suitable for flexible pieces.
Choosing between crating and rolling depends on the specific artwork's size, fragility, and budget, as well as the destination's shipping requirements and regulations.

We will be in touch regarding the best options for you.

    Stoffel Mogano

    Stoffel Mogano

Stoffel Malese Mogano was born on June 7, 1992, in Ga-Mphahlele, Limpopo. His interest in art began in primary school, where movie screenings sparked friendly competitions among students to sketch characters and scenes, an experience that ignited his passion for visual storytelling. He went on to study visual arts at the University of Johannesburg and later completed his National Diploma at the Tshwane University of Technology.

Mogano’s work is centred on the metaphorical significance of feet, which he uses to symbolize the human journey toward progress, resilience, and self-discovery. Through this recurring motif, he reflects on the paths we take, the obstacles we overcome, and the milestones we achieve in pursuit of meaning and fulfilment. Feet, often overlooked, become powerful symbols of endurance and adaptability, carrying both personal and collective narratives.

His use of colour plays a vital role in this storytelling. Dominated by black, white, and grey tones, his palette speaks to introspection, doubt, and the unseen or underappreciated aspects of life. In contrast, warmer hues such as orange, yellow, and red introduce a sense of hope, vitality, and momentum, capturing the perseverance and inner strength required to move forward.

Through his textured compositions and symbolic imagery, Mogano invites viewers to reflect on their own journeys, reminding us that transformation is found not only in reaching a destination, but in embracing each step along the way.

He is currently represented by The Artists Gallery in Cape Town.
