Within South Africa we courier your artwork to your door - the shipping cost will show at the checkout. When shipping art internationally, two primary options are commonly considered: crated and rolled. Crating involves securely packaging the artwork in a custom-built crate, providing maximum protection against physical damage but often resulting in higher shipping costs due to size and weight. We will be in touch regarding the best options for you. Virtual hanging of art is an innovative service we offer that allows art enthusiasts and collectors to visualize how artworks will appear in their desired spaces before making a purchase. We digitally place the selected artworks on your walls, in the correct scale to achieve the desired aesthetic. This service not only helps in making informed decisions but also enhances the overall art-buying experience, providing a realistic preview of the final result and ensuring that the chosen artworks harmonize with the surrounding decor. Please contact us to make use of this service! Shipping Info
On the other hand, rolling art involves taking stretched paintings off the frame, carefully wrapping the artwork and placing it in a protective tube. This method is more cost-effective and suitable for flexible pieces.
Choosing between crating and rolling depends on the specific artwork's size, fragility, and budget, as well as the destination's shipping requirements and regulations. Virtual Hanging

Tanja Davey
Tanja Davey, born in Pongola, Kwazulu Natal in 1980, is an artist based in Kwazulu Natal and currently resides on Durban’s North Coast. As a full-time artist, her work predominantly leans towards intuition and abstraction.
Utilizing shapes, colors, and gestural markings, she infuses her artworks with emotion. Tanja intentionally avoids labeling her abstract pieces, aiming for viewers to have their own personal, emotional, and spiritual responses to her art. In addition to her abstract work, she explores painting flora and fauna, expressing her deep connection and love for the natural world.
In 1999, Tanja Davey relocated to Mozambique with her parents, where she later met her husband Scott in 2003. Over the next 15 years, they traveled and lived in various African countries, including Mozambique, Zambia, and Malawi, considering each place home. The couple returned to South Africa in 2019 when Tanja decided to concentrate on advancing her art career by merging her passion for abstract art with wildlife themes.
In 2023, Tanja Davey’s career gained momentum with successful participation in various group exhibitions and art shows. Her signature style combines diverse elements of art. She aims to create and layer an engaging and distinctive abstract background highlighted by her characteristic ‘scribbles.’ This background is then seamlessly integrated with her interpretation of abstract wildlife, resulting in artwork that is both unique and powerful—a one-of-a-kind creation.
Tanja Davey’s art is showcased at The Artists Gallery in Cape Town.
