Within South Africa we courier your artwork to your door - the shipping cost will show at the checkout.

When shipping art internationally, two primary options are commonly considered: crated and rolled. Crating involves securely packaging the artwork in a custom-built crate, providing maximum protection against physical damage but often resulting in higher shipping costs due to size and weight.
On the other hand, rolling art involves taking stretched paintings off the frame, carefully wrapping the artwork and placing it in a protective tube. This method is more cost-effective and suitable for flexible pieces.
Choosing between crating and rolling depends on the specific artwork's size, fragility, and budget, as well as the destination's shipping requirements and regulations.

We will be in touch regarding the best options for you.

    Moeketsi Moahloli

    Moeketsi Moahloli

Born in Soweto, Moeketsi Moahloli was raised by his devoted single mother, whose strength and guidance shaped his resilience from an early age. As a self-taught artist, he financed his education through bursaries and student loans. After matriculating in 2003, he enrolled at the University of Johannesburg in 2005, graduating in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design.

From 2009 to 2015, Moahloli worked as a graphic designer, gaining professional experience that continues to inform his fine art practice. In 2016, he began volunteering as a drawing instructor under the mentorship of Edward Selematsela, a pivotal influence on his artistic development. With support from the Emerging Artists Development Trust, he expanded into international exhibitions, building recognition and growing his collector base.

Working primarily in mixed media, including charcoal, soft pastels, newspaper and fabric collage, and acrylic paint, Moahloli creates layered works rich in texture and meaning. His use of traditional fabrics symbolizes identity and cultural connection, while newspaper elements introduce storytelling and social commentary. Rooted in everyday life in Soweto, his art celebrates the people and cultural diversity that shape his community.

He has participated in numerous group exhibitions across South Africa and Europe, has been part of The Travelling Art Gallery since 2019, and is represented in Cape Town by The Artists Gallery.
